i started making necklaces a few months ago when my therapist encouraged me to do something for my inner child after a session. when i contemplated what that could be, i had a vivid memory of making beaded jewelry at summer camp as a child. i dug out the beads i’d slowly collected over many years of traveling and moving around, sat down on a floor pillow at my coffee table and haven’t stopped making necklaces since.

i’ve fallen in love with beading and the part of myself it connects me to. it has evoked a nearly forgotten sense of curiosity, spontaneity and true joy. my wish is for this to be transmitted through each piece so much that it stirs up those parts of your little self, too.
